Interesting point about this specific picture, the backpack has a camelback which you can fill with water, and storage space inside for stuff.

This is a series of pictures taken of my Wife wearing a costume i designed, and made.

the costume is inspired heavily by the Sister of Battle, also known as the militant part of the Adepta Sororitas, and the right hand of the Inquisitorial Ordo Hereticus.

Based on the color scheme of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.

It took roughly 6 months of trial, error, pain and joy to make, several hours a day, usually after work.

Materials are mostly sheet styrene and PVC expanded hard foam, i emphasize, hard, there's really very little that's foam-like about the stuff.

Various reasons for doing this, the main being to see if i could and a good portfolio piece towards prospective employers.

How did you make that? I want to cosplay as a sister of battle.

mostly just using sintra and a heatgun, i'd encourage looking up techniques with sintra

Eh, in the end, results are all that matter, and it's preeeeeetty!

Doing things right is more satisfying, of course, but most people won't see the difference. :)

hehe, wow, camelbak backpack is kind of a really good idea. Especially for armor, it gets toasty

This is sooo incredible! How does she get the backpack on with the shoulder armor?

the backpack is attached with a camelbak backpack, and the shoulders attach once the backpack is secured :)
