This is a series of pictures taken of my Wife wearing a costume i designed, and made.
the costume is inspired heavily by the Sister of Battle, also known as the militant part of the Adepta Sororitas, and the right hand of the Inquisitorial Ordo Hereticus.
Based on the color scheme of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.
It took roughly 6 months of trial, error, pain and joy to make, several hours a day, usually after work.
Materials are mostly sheet styrene and PVC expanded hard foam, i emphasize, hard, there's really very little that's foam-like about the stuff.
Various reasons for doing this, the main being to see if i could and a good portfolio piece towards prospective employers.
Wow! Kudos!! Outstanding Photo OP! Well worth the effort and time on the costume and extra's!! Would Love to see more creativite photo's on both your parts. You both have the talent and patience for it. The stance, the pause, the poise of expression surely projects a moment of thought for the onlooker.. Keep up the good work! Would love to see more various photo poses like combat anger or the sister look, or even the reflection look etc, etc, you know all the jargon.. Thanks for sharing your work. By the way Does your wife have a Sister?.. (just a little pun there).
thanks, i've said before and i may very well say it some other time too, but it's a great thing to have the hard work validated by people expressing their interest and appreciation of what we've done thank you very much!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
