This is a series of pictures taken of my Wife wearing a costume i designed, and made.

the costume is inspired heavily by the Sister of Battle, also known as the militant part of the Adepta Sororitas, and the right hand of the Inquisitorial Ordo Hereticus.

Based on the color scheme of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.

It took roughly 6 months of trial, error, pain and joy to make, several hours a day, usually after work.

Materials are mostly sheet styrene and PVC expanded hard foam, i emphasize, hard, there's really very little that's foam-like about the stuff.

Various reasons for doing this, the main being to see if i could and a good portfolio piece towards prospective employers.

Yeah I did a search for 40K cosplay ideas for a sci-fi themed party i went to a while back & came across them. Didnt have time to make something as cool as this, just cobbled together whatever i had in my wardrobe, but i did manage to finish a bolter.
